This is 30! 🎈 I can’t believe I made it here. I remember when I didn’t see myself becoming this age a few years ago, and so ever since then my life has been a reflection of complete awe and reverence of just BEING here. Sometimes it’s hard, naturally- but overall, I’m thankful. I’ve achieved more than I could imagine in my 20s- I make a living simply being myself (🤯) and so I want this next decade to just be a continuation of knowing that “it’s possible”. More love + good health, more truths, more connections, more boundaries, more laughter, more service, more presence, more of becoming who I was truly meant to be 💛✨ Thank you all so much for the birthday messages!! When my sweet friend @thenakedeyemusic turned 30, she shared that as a woman in the music industry we often feel we have to hide or lie about our age as we get older, & I completely relate! (I’ve had ex-managers advise me to have an ‘industry age’, and who remembers when the ‘overs’ category on the X-Factor was TWENTY FIVE years young 🥲) fuck that- the stigma needs to change. Ageing is a blessing. We really don’t know how much time we have on earth.. let’s not waste it wishing to be something other than the truth x
