Happy birthday Dad. I know you told me that you are not going to celebrate it today given what is going on in Ukraine, where you were born, grew up and where you still have family. But I simply can’t skip that day as you are so very important to me. I’m endlessly grateful for everything that you are, most talented artist, most caring and loving father. 25 years ago you brought us to Canada and built your new life away from deprivation and fears.
