It is our immense joy to invite you to join us at the opening of part three of Andy Medina's Mitla next Thursday, September 22nd, from 5-9 PM. Andy Medina is a multidisciplinary transgender artist of indigenous descent from Oaxaca City who explores language and symbols, investigating their critical and experimental possibilities. He plays with lost futures and anachronisms by juxtaposing pre-Columbian characters and contemporary culture. We opened Estrella Gallery with the dream of giving Latin American artists their first New York City solo exhibition; Mitla is the realization of this mission.
