Hydrouessa’s collection Ladder dress in partnership with @ampersandampersandampersand Knitted on domestic knit machines in eco silk. The ladder dress is central to the Hydrouessa’s dowry collection. This is the most complex piece of the collection as every stitch has been instructed by hand. The curved forms of the net like space on the dress and its sleeves represent the snakes of the island encircling the body. The sculptural form looks back to ancient Cycladic marble female figures.
