Rest In Peace to the lovely Pat Carroll. I got to meet her in 2012 and it was a dream come true. You’d never know it if you only know her as the voice of Ursula the Sea Witch, but she was just as sweet as could be. I remember approaching her autograph table and fangirling all over her, she just ate it up; before long I had her LITERALLY *cackling* and that’s when I heard it!! Just a mere few feet from my ears I heard that distinctive laugh, emanating from Ms. Carroll’s mouth was that familiar “Ursula laugh” I had heard on the silver screen dozens of times before. She was 85 years young when I snapped this pic of her, she had just finished autographing the Ursula doll. And she was hesitant to do so, she said it was such a beautiful doll, she didn’t want to ruin it. By the time I left her table, a crowd had gathered and she had a long line of people wanting to meet her. What a lovely memory.
