Some sustainable holiday reminders as we go into this holiday weekend! 🎄 You can create a time of celebration that is meaningful and works for you! It doesn’t have to look like what is traditional. (Often, a sustainable holiday would mean skipping much of what is “traditional” given how excess has been the cultural holiday norm.) Sustainability also means that which is maintainable and has a longterm outlook. Much of how we celebrate the holidays can be exhausting, depleting our monetary resources and energy. So what’s sustainable for you this season may be slowing down and choosing less— because that’s more manageable in the long run!
