A while back I had a little project @sylviemacmillan.candelabras which turned into a big project when @acnestudios asked me to create seven mammoth, shell encrusted candelabras for their SS23 show. They are labour intensive, heavy and spikey but they’re definitely the best things I’ve ever made (IMO). Thanks so much to @kateswingler @isabellaburley @alexiajanehebet and entire Acne team for their trust in me, you pulled out a sensational show! Thanks to my shelling partner @_matilda_mercer_ for the many hours and jokes we had together 🥹🐚🐚🐚 And finally thanks to Marine Arts and Eatons Shells who provided the most beautiful shells that abide by CITES (Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species).
