wow wow wow, this past week has been such a wonderful ride.✨🤩 I finally got to attend this crazy festival I’ve been watching on youtube for the past couple years and placed top 24 in Summer Dance Forever House Edition. Those of you who know me well, know that i come from a strong background in technique and classical foundation, but one day i fell deeply in love with street style and realized how deeply and ancestrally rooted I feel each time I participate in it. house dance literally stole my heart and I decided to embrace this love fully and dive even deeper into it. through many sessions and battles and at-home trainings, I continue to be a student to this dance form and I live inside it every single day. Anyway, this was my round during the battle. Putting all the nerves I felt aside, I felt so free and full of joy being able to share my dance with all of these energies in this room.
