I’m back from my trip and needless to say, I’m back with a tan. I’m religious with my SPF but, some amount of tan is inevitable and normal.
A quick disclaimer, this video doesn’t promote skin lightening. If you’re someone who doesn’t mind a tan, that’s fine, feel free to scroll down but if you’d like to treat it, hope you find this helpful. Do SAVE this if you did and SHARE it with someone who’ll find this useful.
For me treating tan, is more about treating premature ageing, collagen loss than it is with the skin colour and these tips do help with the same.
Product recommendations:
1️⃣. Lactic acid - I used the one by @drsheths here. Other brands I like are @beminimalist__ and @theordinary. Lactic acid under 5% are pregnancy and breast feeding safe and @suganda.co and @theordinary both do one. These shouldn’t be used more then 1-2 times a week.
2️⃣. A range of brands do vitamin C and a niacinamide serum. I’ve talked about it in various videos. I used here one by @indewild and @beminimalist__ respectively. If you’re new to antioxidants, always start with low percentages and gradually. These can be used daily. These are pregnancy and breast feeding safe.
3️⃣. The peeling solution I used here was by @theordinary. I used the @chemistatplay.official lactic acid wash. The lotion I used is by @suganda.co. Internationally, I quite like the @eucerin_uk urea repair lactic acid lotion. These are mild and okay to use daily but you can alternate as well. These are not pregnancy and breast feeding safe.
4️⃣. Lastly, my sunscreen and ceramide cream are both by @thankyoufarmer.in . Other brands who do it are @cerave @beminimalist__ @thedermacoindia. Physical sunscreens like @muradskincare and @theearthrhythm mineral SPF are pregnancy safe. Ceramide moisturisers are safe for all.
