Over the weekend I painted with a group of children at @spiralbooksnyc 📚 Eager to imagine, quick to move on to new ideas. They arrived, stripped off layers of puffers and wool, and dropped into conversation in no time. We explored feelings and colors — how they can exist together or apart. They made many, many paintings, each carrying its own narrative. They spoke proudly to one another, inspiring new directions. After my time with them, I thought: this is what makes us — our ability to imagine, to communicate, and to support one another❣️
