🎨 Painting process insights 👩🏻‍🎨 I rarely sketch things out, beginning with loose, abstract charcoal forms directly on the canvas — letting the movement guide me. The composition reveals itself through that initial form drawing. Each brushstroke builds on instinct, grounded by research of endangered and native species. My process is both meditative and responsive, blending spontaneity with intention to celebrate the resilience and beauty of the natural world.
