Char kway teow is one of my favorite Malaysian noodles. I love anything with Chinese sausage especially when it’s paired with chewy fresh rice noodles and seafood. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get fish cakes and blood cockles from my Asian grocery store so I made it with only shrimp but it was still delicious.
Please see my recipe below:
1lb fresh rice noodles
2Tbs oil or pork fat
8 shrimp
2 piece Chinese sausage
2 whole eggs
1Tbs minced garlic
1Tbs chili paste
Handful Chinese garlic chives
Handful bean sprouts
Sauce:
2Tbs soy sauce
1Tbs fish sauce
1 Tbs sweet dark soy
1 tsp sugar
Pinch white pepper
