Replying to @christineheisler Here are your receipts. It was definitely NOT an out of towner selling them out of his truck. There was an established book store right on Main Street by City Hall. The first article literally provides the address where it was located, the history of the building, the years active...even the phone number it used to have. It provides references. The 2nd article is Texas Monthly. It also talks about the bookstore. There's even a picture of it. The 3rd source is an essay written by Michael Corcoran that also mentions the book store AND the "hunting licenses". I'm not just making stuff up for fun...
