The Fire Island Pines is a magical place. I grew up going to Davis Park, a community close by, but the first time I took ecsta$y was at the annual Pines Party about 17 years ago. I was invisible in the sea of men, floating around the dance floor led by the smells of ocean next to me and disco lights above me. I felt safe, happy, excited. I’ve been back so many times- from enjoying Miss Fire Island to more dancing at Tea. The LGBTQ community is very close to me and getting to enjoy this special place is a gift. . Last summer I got to take some photos for @glennrice_ at his incredible home. The Pyramid House stands proudly amongst the iconic architecture of the Pines.
