Rebuilding my life one day at a time hasn’t been easy. . . But God! . . . I came home 🏠 and locked in! One of the things that was important to me was my education 📚, because I knew it was something no one could ever take back. Behind bars I started my education journey by getting my Associates, my Bachelors and my Masters Degree. After coming home I made it my business to get my PhD. Today I’m known as Dr. Jamila T. Davis. I’m a Community Practitioner in Residence at Seton Hall University @setonhall. I’ve dedicated my life to paying it forward. My journey taught me after the storm ⛈ comes a rainbow 🌈 .
