So thankful to get to spend the past two weeks at two camps that helped me grow so much in my relationship with Jesus. Service Over Self showed me the true joy in getting to give back and show God’s love to each other through service. M28 has taught me how to make Jesus at the center of my life and surrender everything to him. Both gave me a place to grow with a community that has uplifted me so much over these years. I will talk about these places forever! Luke 9:23-24 “Then Jesus said to the crowd, “If any of you want to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.” I was reminded at M28 that following Jesus is not a one time thing, it is a daily act of surrender. It can be so hard to hand everything to him but the more I have given Jesus my time, life, and decisions, the more Joy and peace I feel from him. I stand in awe of all the things he has done for me. Thank you Jesus for these opportunities and friendships!!
