We've survived life with humans almost another year! This beautiful individual tiger shark we lovingly call Roxy, has come around my birthday almost every year and it's the best gift I could ever hope for to see her, and the other sharks I grew up with, and more sharks, have even the slightest better chance of survival because of my life. I feel shark conservation was my life's purpose and it seems like everything that happened growing up put me in the position to #HelpSaveSharks and other wonderful marine life. Roxy has suffered tremendously and still does because of her broken jaw and drilled dorsal fin, there is no way to repair those things and she cannot feed as a normal tiger should be able to. I'm grateful for her visits and lessons and she's inspired me in many ways to persevere through the toughest moments of life. "Just keep swimming" is a life motto and she embodies it. I'm grateful for the people who support shark and marine conservation, for my position and abilities, and One Ocean Diving team to be able to help save sharks from much likely lethal marine debris and long term suffering while helping others to learn sharks. The greatest impact we have comes from our daily choices, how we spend our time, energy, and money, and what we choose to speak about. Thank you to those who speak up for sharks, graceful, beautiful, and important sharks & those who support @OneOceanDiving efforts. Ways to get involved in shark conservation: -Write to politicians to get them to ban the wasteful cruel practice of shark finning, or sale, trade, and possession of shark fins. -Support petitions for other geographic locations, even just by helping to further spread awareness to other citizens or government bodies of that country. -It doesn't matter if you're an Artist, Designer, Lawyer, Student, etc if you have time to share your voice for those without a voice you're helping to save sharks and marine life from suffering and for future generations benefit. -write to companies that sell, ship, or serve shark fins, meat, oil, cartilage, non-fossilized teeth, baby sharks in jars and other shark derived products. 🎥 @juansharks ❤️🙏🏽 #sharkballet #sharkdive #oceanramsey
