The theme for this years #WearItPurpleDay is ‘Still Me, Still Human’ and whilst society will often have us feel that we are anything but, this WIPD I am proud of humans who live authentically. Who stand by one another with the power of community and support each other through this thing called life. Humans who in the face of great adversity continue to be resplendent. Who shine brighter and bigger and bolder and defy what society expects of their humanity. Our Queerness is HUMAN and what an honour it is to be Queer.
