How to get your first ✨PRONATED PULL UP ✨ Try these tips!!
Let me know if this post was helpful! Your support on my content means a lot 🥹💕
I love pull ups! It’s one of the most bad asss lifts when you can rep them out unassisted! I love getting my LSF girls stronger on them too!
A pronated grip (underhand) is the hardest position. It’s not what I recommend to ‘start’ with when aiming to get your first body weight pull up.
Neutral grip & supinated (underhand) grip are easier.
Try these tips to build up your strength to this. 💪🏼💪🏼
1️⃣Neutral grip. Palms facing together. This is the easiest/strongest position for you.
2️⃣If you can’t yet do Neutral grip...try focusing on slow eccentrics. Use a bench or box beneath you to assist with jumping up and then take 4-5 seconds to lower. Use this in your program for 4 weeks.
3️⃣ Focus on developing overall upper body strength (upper back + arms).
Let’s get STRONG ladies.💪🏼💪🏼
p.s. sign ups for my final challenge intake of the year are now open! 6 week ELEVATE challenge. 🚀🚀🚀
