@grumpymagazine NO.16 [Cover 1/4] // I’ve been working on this very special issue since late 2019 — I can’t believe it’s finally here! For the magazine’s fourth anniversary, I wanted to push my boundaries and did change the direction multiple times. Since the launch of this edition, I’ve read some of the nicest messages — thank you everyone for such a warm welcome. Above all, I’d like to thank every single person who I’ve worked with over the past few months for their trust, kindness, and generosity. The four covers of this issue were shot by four brilliant female photographers that I’m honored to have collaborated with. — We shot this first cover with the talented and really sweet @cameronmonaghan early March in Los Angeles. @samidrasin and I envisioned for this shoot a poetic garden concept — we felt Cameron would be a great match for that creative. Throughout his many years working in the film industry, he is the type of actor who has proved that he can do it all. In conversation with his longtime friend and fellow actor @lianaliberato, he reflected on his rise to stardom and discussed his most iconic characters in TV shows #Shameless and #Gotham, as well as his video game experience on #StarWarsJediFallenOrder. His love for his job is clear, as he approaches each of his roles with depth and genuineness. During Cameron’s chat with Liana, I could witness his warm, jovial, and humble personality.
