The underwater world is so vast, I’ve always been highly intrigued and terrified of those nooks and crannies in the deep dark unknown spaces of the big blue sea. Every month or two, I take a moment to re-evaluate what my goals are in my professional career, and if I’m succeeding in pursuing those goals or not. One goal I have had for several years but never committed to is shooting underneath the surface, not simply on top. The underwater world shows a different sort of power, beauty and simplicity the usual over-land view can’t share. Everything goes quiet when you dip your head under the oceans surface, and in my case, creates this beautiful calmness in my soul.
