Hold to read - Makeup Tips I wish I knew Earlier⁣ ⁣ Makeup starts at skincare - skin prep and care is important to achieve smoother application, finish & longevity. You may not need a mattifying primer if your skin is dehydrated & over producing oil, address the dehydration at skincare. Find your skin’s undertone - whether it’s cool, warm or neutral, this will help you find the right foundation shade easily. It can also help you find the best shades for other beauty such as products such as lipstick & blush to suit your complexion. ⁣ ⁣ Build up coverage as needed - apply light layers (light to medium coverage foundation & concealer) to build up coverage and spot conceal. This will help your makeup look and fee less heavy or cakey.⁣ ⁣ Makeup is a skill, keep practicing - give yourself time to develop your style & skills. Play with makeup in your spare time & give yourself time when getting ready. ⁣ ⁣ Understand your facial features to find the best techniques. I find it helpful to learn from people with similar features like face shape & eyes. ⁣I have almond shaped Asian mono lidded eyes so I look for similar creators instead of trying to recreate looks that my eye shape can’t carry. ⁣ Set with powder only where you need to avoid cakey finish or dry patches.⁣ As an oily gal I only set with powder in my T-zone. ⁣ Apply blush on your nose, chin & forehead on top of applying it to your cheeks. This makes your makeup look more seamless, natural and gives a healthy complexion.⁣ ⁣ Korean lip tints are the best lip products! They are affordable, long lasting, unique and not drying. ⁣ #makeuptip #makeuptipsandtricks #makeuptutorial #makeuptipsforbeginners #cleangirlmakeup #aestheticmakeup #thatgirlaesthetic #makeupreels #skincarecommunity #koreanmakeup #kbeauty #koreanliptint #liptint #beautytips #beautytipsandtricks
