It’s been a busy weekend. I didn’t touch up any paintwork in the house (obvs) but I did go shopping quite a bit and got some new housey bits. Fave purchase has to be this new plant stand from @homesense_uk - a bargain for £16! This is my favourite monstera in the house, it was stood on a rubbish stool before surrounded by clutter, but I’ve cleared the corner now so it’s free for hanging out at the breakfast bar again. Chuffed to bits. I’ve not a huge fan of this radiator - it was here when we moved in and I love it in theory, but it’s full of marks that won’t clean off and I really wish it was matt black instead of gloss. So I’m going to paint it this week ✌🏻 (it’s also hanging off the wall but like, securely. Let’s not dwell on that lol) I’ve also cleaned, hung pictures, got rid of stuff on our local thrift group, potentially scored a Facebook Marketplace bargain, potted up a plant, and cleared out horrible drawers and cupboards in the kitchen (you know when you just hoard a load of crap)... so I’m feeling pretty accomplished. Plus I’ve had time to chill in the garden with a cider.
