I’ve been trying for the past 3 days to find the words to describe what this past weekend at @masseria.wave meant to me, but all I can really say is GRAZIE. GRAZIE to the entire team at Masseria Wave and @la.restuccia : @protopapa @gilbertogenco @giuseppe.rss @nicosattitude @os.anna.e @_____circe @guglielmogiannotta @andyvenus_ @profilodiema : these people really out there making 🏳️‍🌈 Queer Paradise 🏝 in southern Italy a reality and giving the whole country a new hope. GRAZIE to the resident queens @billie.kill @alister.victoria @andromeda.unchained @jjamilasolis and @ellabottomrouge for welcoming me to share a stage with them and supporting me and trusting me to host events in Italian for the first time in my life. GRAZIE to @dsuperstore @beau_mo and @milk.shandy for always being my biggest fans and believing in me more than anyone has ever done. GRAZIE to @ms.g_ldn @bolly_illusion and @supermaryhoe for being the best team of pocket slags a suspiciously tall lady could ask for. Last but not least GRAZIE to Gil’s parents Rossella and Gianfranco for driving me to the airport at 7am lol. Every event was full of love and talent and Queer Joy, but what I will never forget is what it felt like to finally be able to be my true self in my home country for the first time in my life. It was my tits’ first birthday and I took them home to celebrate, and I didn’t think I’d ever be able to say this. For that, I say GRAZIE to myself.
