Winery building update! With so much amazing progress happening on our winery building by some very talented local Saltspring contractors, we thought we’d share some work-in-progress shots! Some of the pics include laying the drainage pipes for our winery drains, laying the gravel and rebar foundation before pouring the exterior concrete crush pads and inside flooring, the very exciting day when the concrete trucks came!!, and most recently when our winemaking production equipment showed up on site for 2023 harvest! The board and batten cedar siding was made completely from dead cedar trees found on our property that we had milled locally on Saltspring. We’ll share more progress updates as we have them—including work we’ve done on the existing farmhouse too!
