2 things: 1) congrats to @amyallen who i frequently refer to as a genius so it comes as no surprise that the good folk over at @genius consider her the 3rd best songwriter in the world... i personally esteem her to be #1 but we can argue about this another time 🙃 2) as if to prove to my point, little story for u is that a big amy’s bucket list item was writing for a film. the very same day @chrisdouridas briefed her on @pawsoffurymovie she went and wrote COULDNT FORGET YOU with @eliethebear and nailed it in one go. no rewrites, no edits. pretty fucking rare in that world but a testament to her GENIUS (see what i did there???) go stream “couldn’t forget you” now, it’s beautiful and will ease the burn of amy ignoring my advice and posting that photo on her social media 💜
