From the waters of Liberia, we had the chance to join @seashepherd on Operation Sola Stella, which is Latin for ‘Lone Star’, the motto for the Republic of Liberia. Developing countries are particularly vulnerable to illegal fishing, which accounts for up to 40% of the fish caught in West African waters. The mission is to identify and arrest the unlicensed foreign industrial vessels. The world is a better place thanks to their efforts.
