The sun is the largest object in our solar system, sitting in the middle of it all. The sun, which makes up 99.8% of the solar system's mass and has a diameter 109 times that of Earth, could hold one billion Earths. Unfortunately, this essential part of creation, which gives life to all living things and provides us with light, warmth, vitamin D, and a golden halo, has been labeled the "enemy" of humanity on occasion for several generations in our recent past. This breaks my heart. Industrial activities like refrigeration and other industrial processes have weakened the Ozone Layer's protection, allowing harmful UV Light to pass through. Once again, we as a species are directly responsible for endangering the planet herself and its inhabitants. Early morning and late afternoon are ideal times for us humans to be out in the sun unprotected; sunscreen, on the other hand, oftentimes contains chemicals substances. From newborns to the elderly, our skin, the body's largest organ, absorbs it so be careful.
PS - The Sun is at an average distance of about 93,000,000 miles away from Earth. It is so far away that light from the Sun, traveling at a speed of 186,000 miles per second, takes about 8 minutes to reach us. This may be scientific info but for me, I drink it in as deeply spiritual ๐๐ค๐งก๐ค๐โค๏ธ๐๐ค
