Deceased at the texture of this toner 👀, but here’s the new @cocokind Turmeric Illuminating Solution [PR - GIFTED] 🍵 $24 for 4 oz 🍵 what is it? Leave-on exfoliant for 3-5x a week use 🍵 the actives: 2% mandelic, 2% PHA, 3% glycolic. Together, I’d rank this as a medium exfoliant. It’s not going to push your skin too hard, but it’ll get the job done. The how to use says you can use it during the day, but I wouldn’t risk that tbh 🍵 texture: it’s thicker than I would like. From a usability standpoint, I struggled to get it to drop out of the bottle. I needed to shake it many times before anything comes out. It spreads very nicely though, and it has a slight turmeric/nature-y smell to it 🍵 other key ingredient: turmeric for antioxidants and helping even out skin tone 🍵 I use this on my face and body. Sadly because of the thick texture and difficulty getting it to come out, I can’t use it on my scalp, unless I uncap it. But that feels messier and more wasteful. But for getting a few drops out for your face, it’s totally fine to use the cap. 🍵 I’d recommend this for people who are newer to exfoliation and who want something on the gentler side. You’ll get good results still, but it’ll be more gradual. But your skin barrier will THANK you for going slow.
