Dear, My name is Dan Stern and I am the Relationship Director for You Donate...We Deliver. https://www.facebook.com/groups/509755896261351/?ref=share We are a community food collection and distribution focused charity who are supporting our NHS through their most critical and challenging times. Founded in the first lockdown, the team behind You Donate, We Deliver raised £106,000 to fund the safe production and distribution of hot home cooked meals and home baked goods. Our focus now is on supporting the London Ambulance Service. These incredible people are having to wait up to 6 hours outside a hospital whilst caring for a patient in the back of their cab, waiting to perform their hand over. They are stuck in full PPE and are unable to leave their patients side to get any food or drink -This is where we come in. Working closely with the London Ambulance service, we will be stocking their newly created ‘tea trucks’ with grab and go nutritional snack bags and freshly made sandwiches that will be delivered safely straight to ambulance crews to ensure they have the energy to last their extended shifts. Alongside this we are also supplying hot nutritional meals for frontline ICU staff. My mission is to speak to and gain the financial support from large corporate companies to help fund our initiative. It’s currently costing us £6500 a week to supply our NHS frontline workers with a substantial meal and snacks. The money also goes towards supplying isolating ambulance crews and ICU doctors and nurses with enough food for the week.
