YOU MUST BE THE CEO OF YOU! 🔹Manage yourself until you have exhausted your personal people power 🔹 You’re building YOUR brand so stacking your money and personally building relationships is invaluable. 1. Managers need something to manage 🔹 is your brand/business big enough where you are getting more money making opportunities than you can handle/facilitate on your own? 2. Maybe the next step is a Personal Assistant? 🔹There are a lot of people that love the business but their superpower is keeping things (and you) organized and on track. 3. Are you getting a lot of PAID shows? 🔹 If you’re handling everything well but finding you need help keeping things together on the road then a Road Manager might be a solid option. BONUS 🔷 I definitely believe people will need a team at some point in order to grow. 🔹 hiring someone to document capture and create content for your socials would be my priority over hiring a manager 🔹 Personal assistant would my #2 🔷 AS the CEO of you and your brand you MUST take the team building process seriously. Interview people, check references, background checks, get NDA’s signed *where appropriate, get work for hire agreements done where you clearly lay out expectations of all parties (yes= you + them). You are a business and this might be a great opportunity but it’s still a job and protecting yourself and your brand is essential. 🔷I’ll dive deeper into what you should be seeking in a Manager in an upcoming post BUT managers are interested in you if they see money making potential.
