A dream come true. ✨️ Sundance Film Festival 2023, we are coming for you 😍 From watching old Sundance entries in my highschool bedroom to being casted in a film that will premiere at the film festival!!! It's been 12 years since I began professionally acting and this definitely takes the freaking highlight. @kenndagatan ’s In My Mother’s Skin will screen under the Midnight section where only 8 films are chosen, the section that discovered some of my favessssss like Hereditary, Blair Witch Project and The Babadook. We are the ONLY foreign language film in the section! Our film is a Philippine-Singapore-Taiwan coproduction with Epic Media, Zhao Wei Films, Volos Films and Clover Films, supported by Film Development Council of the Philippines, Film Philippines, Singapore Film Commission, Taiwan Creative Content Agency and BiFan NAFF Discovery of Asia Prize. “Perhaps the most notorious Sundance program, Midnight has long had a reputation for screening films guaranteed to provoke a reaction. Historically, tremendously diverse films that range across many genres and subject matters have occupied these screening slots. As the festival itself suggests, Park City at Midnight is a good place to find a new cult classic."
