‘Auctus Animalis’ is the outcome of a collaboration between Sèbastien Gaxie and our very own Vincent Fournier for The Swiss Life 4 Hands Prize. The duo made an exhibition that lives at the crossroads of speculative biology and surrealism, the project of Fournier and Gaxie is an astonishing futuristic bestiary associating history and anticipation, memory, and science fiction, and questions new relationships with nature in our world of tomorrow. The Swiss Life 4 Hands Prize is a unique competition promoting artists who, together, create a dialogue between music and photography. The exhibition 'Auctus Animalis' (latin for animal growth) will be on show at Approche 2022.
