SANTA MONICA PIER YEAR IN REVIEW!! ❤️⁠ ⁠ Can you believe that it’s almost 2023? When we look back on all the sunsets we enjoyed, the dog photos we snapped, the awesome food we ate, and the endless rides and games we enjoyed on the Pier– it’s easy to see how time flies.⁠ ⁠ 2022 was a highly memorable year of invigorating programs at the Pier. We revived the hallmark event Santa Monica Pier 360 Beach & Ocean Festival, we also brought back the “Save the Pier!” play – celebrating the 50th anniversary of the community grass-roots movement to save the Pier from demolition, we built upon our new tradition of remembering those who came before us with our Dia de los Muertos celebration, we reinvented our fitness focus with Wellness and Waves. And, perhaps most importantly, we introduced our new Locals’ Nights – a long overdue nod to the community that features Santa Monica’s wealth of talented groups and individuals. ⁠ ⁠ We can't wait to see what 2023 brings, and we definitely can't wait to help create many, many more memories here on the Pier with you!⁠ ⁠ ⁠
