Hey Honeys! For those who are new to my hair page, Honey Wild Beauty, and The Academy, I just want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude. After 12 years in the hair industry, you might see just the beautiful pictures, but behind the scenes, I’ve faced immense challenges that nearly drove me away from this path. In fact, I stepped back for a year because it felt like I was overlooked and unheard. I’m so grateful I didn’t give up. I’m thankful that I pushed through, I had to start all over again. I know it’s a cliché to say that hardship is part of the journey, but I’m here to rewrite that narrative. I want to offer the best version of myself and share my knowledge to empower my team to thrive. I want to show up for them in ways that others didn’t show up for me. This industry is about authenticity—it’s an art form and my livelihood. I’ve always dreamed of opening a salon that fosters a truly healthy environment, and it’s taken me a long time to learn to love myself and gather the courage to share my story. If you’re feeling scared or uncertain, remember: there is something better out there. I’ve waited a long time for the incredible individuals who now surround me. I prayed and manifested for this moment, and watching it unfold has been the greatest blessing. It fills my heart with joy to see that God truly answers prayers.
