There is a certain beauty in places like this. It is in the simplicity and slowness of time that lies a beauty that is a little difficult to describe in words. I spent 10 days in this valley named El Valle located in Samana, Dominican Republic. It is a place where you can slow down, be one with nature, observe how a community supports each other. I came to visit one my best friends who moved here a couple of years ago. Seeing her lifestyle, how she became part of this beautiful community, her friends, and the nature that surrounds her, inspired me. There is just this beauty in simplicity difficult to describe in words.
