If you’ve sat at the counter when Chef @rhanwhang is working, you’ve felt it: the quiet focus, the warmth, the way each hand roll hits just right. After cooking at @girl.and.the.goat, he spent three months traveling solo through Korea—eating and studying his way through the country. When he came back, he led kitchens at @cabrachicago and returned to Girl & the Goat as CDC. But sushi had a hold on him. Together, with the other partners, he opened Noriko. It felt like home. Rhan is an expert in understanding ingredients, blending unique flavors, and strives for perfection in his creations. And we’re lucky to have him.
