“A place called home” is an exploration of my childhood home. When I went to Iowa in July, it was the first time I visited “home” since my parents had divorced. It made me realize that every time I left and came back, the space would never be the same. Remnants of my childhood triggered faded memories of what once had been there. The photos I took are just an attempt to hold on to what is left, solidifying a memory, to cope with the change time brings. I hope to be able to document more as this once so personal space continues to feel more foreign.
