Kulfi turns 1 🥳🍰🧿 In the past 12 months, the Kulfi team & I have packed thousands of orders from my NYC apartment. Our community has enabled us to continue building, and we are moving to a warehouse! I still don’t have my closet back because it’s now filled with samples of delicious new products we are creating. I have big dreams for Kulfi this year. For myself, though, my goal is to be intentional about enjoying the journey. As a first gen immigrant & being financially independent since I was 18, my first instinct is survival. It’s an asset: every no becomes fuel to thrive against the odds. But being in constant fight or flight mode means that I tend to move from one milestone to the next without taking a moment to celebrate how far I’ve come from where I started. The girl growing up in Delhi, the young woman figuring out life in Singapore, the New Yorker who quit her job and took the entrepreneurial leap without knowing what to expect: they would all be so proud of me. So this year I’m going to do things differently, light candles, play music, say no to protect my energy, be kind to myself, eat gulab jamun, and pat my back on a regular basis. 💜
