Some @alfaparfusa #hairinspo right here! “@stylist_and_the_city: Hello beautiful people. As some of you know, I am in stage 3 of a national hair competition. I had the hardest time finding a curly model, so I decided to do my own hair. I couldn’t go down without trying! So here’s what I did.. First, I used Alfaparf Easy lift 7 bleach with 20vol. I used a variety of technique. I would call this a custom color service. After my hair lifted to a level 9, I washed my hair and made sure to dry my roots, and keep the ends lightly damp. I applied Evolution of the Color 5 & 10vol 1:3 parts to the root area, which helped me blend my grays. After letting my roots sit for 10 mins, I mixed Color wear cream gloss mostly 8, 8.31, and about 15g of 5 with 10vol 1:2 parts. I applied to my mid shaft & ends. I continued to let my hair process for 15 mins. With Alfaparf Color levels 1-10 you will find blue more dominant. The color consists of 50% Blue, 25% Red, and 25% Yellow. Understanding the underlying pigment of color helps me with my formulation. I know that anything blue based will appear slightly darker. Since my goal was to have my highlights pop without being too light, I knew toning with 8 & adding 5 would give my enough depth but keep me bright enough! After I washed & conditioned, I left my hair wet and added a light leave in conditioner and diffused my hair. I learned I need to diffuse my hair more often because I love the way my curls look. Let me know what you guys think of this look 🙃” . . . . . . . . . . #apmprocoloristoftheyear_stagethree #apmprocoloristoftheyear2022_stagethree #alfaparf #alfaparfpeople
