I swear it was yesterday that Mama J asked us to be Z’s parents. I can still remember the smell of her new skin and hear her first cries. In my heart Zadie Ann is still a tiny baby needing me for every little thing. However, she is a big girl off to her first day of Pre School. Strong, sweet, and ready to make friends. Zadie Ann still needed daddy to carry her too and from the car, and mommy’s hand to walk in, but thanks to a friend she found the courage to stay.
