I feel so honored and excited to be featured in this issue of 18 amazing Latina/x photographers that should be celebrated and hired by @theluupe When I first started out in photography, I hardly knew any Latina photographers. It was not easy and often I would become frustrated with the lack of representation. I made it my intention to always highlight and celebrate my community in my work. Seeing a list of women & non-binary artist that rep their latinidad so proudly is makes me proud and slightly emo. 🥹 I’ve always been so proud my Mexican American roots. It’s part of my artistic dna and always has been. I hope we keep supporting women artist and all the Latina (x) baddies. 🌹
