I have the privilege to announce that Jonathon Lo @jlo_conductor will join The Australian Ballet as Music Director, starting January 2023. Hong Kong born, Jonny is currently Music Director at Northern Ballet in the UK, as well as Staff Conductor at The Royal Opera House. Jonny has been conducting shows of Romeo and Juliet here with us in Melbourne and later in the year in Sydney. I’m so excited for the future with Jonny as a creative and musical partner. And a huge nod to Nicolette Fraillon, who after 20 years as Music Director, leaves such an enormous legacy. Photo: @klongersklongers
