Day 6 of #peacealover is a heart opener and our prompt is “Who is the person that brings you peace?” At the end of the day I am responsible for keeping my peace. I used to think I had to seek it outside of myself, that I was “sinful” or broken and needing some outside source to give me peace. With growth and self-reflection I’ve realized all the ways I was taught was broken was what made me human. When I connected to my inner wisdom I realized I’m good inside. I’m not broken. I’m a human with complexities and all I need is in within me. I’ll make sure Bodhi knows that too about himself. I spent so many years giving people and narcissists “the benefit of the doubt” at the cost of my peace. Those days are done. I saw an amazing tattoo the other day that simply said “let them.” If someone wants to make assumptions or judgements about you? Let them. Someone wants to choose someone else over you? Let them. Someone is revealing who they really are? Let them. And when someone wants to walk out of your life? Hold the door and let them. I don’t have to change someone or exhaust myself proving my worth or who I am. When a friend or person shows they are worthy of my time and wants to love me? I’ll LET THEM. If it disrupts your peace, it costs too much 🫶 🙏🏼 Grateful Hosts 🙏🏼 @asana_al @yogimegs @northernstar_yoga @whitneydavisyoga @ninayoganow @robinmartinyoga 🕊 Peace Maker Sponsors 🕊 @aloyoga ➰ $100 e-gift card @alomoves ➰ 6 month subscription #aloyogachallenge #aloyoga #alomoves #igyogacommunity #igyogachallenge #yogachallenges #internationalyogamonth #yogafam #igyogafam #yogafamily #yogareels #yogateacher #backbends #ustrasana
