As media partner, Nataal hails REVout Zine, Sudan's revolutionary fashion magazine. Published by Fashion Scout, it features 11 designers who have taken part in Moda Fashion Connects, a capacity building programme by the Goethe-Institut Sudan. The issue brought together a cross-cultural team to create an uplifting fashion shoot in Khartoum expressing what life is like for Sudan's youth. This sits alongside a long read hearing from the Moda alumni about their determination to use fashion as a vehicle for change in their country. . “For women in Sudan it's always twice as hard, to have a revolution and fight patriarchy at the same time. But young women today are also two times stronger and use all the means possible to fight. One of those means is fashion, to make a statement they have control of and not allow the system to make them live in fear again,” says Duha Mohammed, who worked as a stylist on REVout Zine. .
