Geo Rose from a while ago, some healed some fresh... totally slacking on posts but #momlife #whatsreallyimportant
Anyway, this tattoo belongs to a beautiful and sweet native Alaskan with the most gorgeous and taken care of (no sun damage) skin. She's a pale Fitz 3. The reason I mention that is because I really wanted to make sure that you can actually perceive her real unmodified skin tone in the pic...it's too easy with all these awesome cameras these days, to over-contrast/color or wherever to show off tattoos and then everything looks like it's on a Fitz 1 like the second image. The Fitzpatrick Scale is commonly used to describe a person's skin tone/heritage and how much sun exposure modifies or burns the skin. I love that we were able to achieve such an awesome level a vibrancy in this tattoo without colors
ashing out which is common in this skin tone. I also love the contrast between the colors and how they play off each other, especially at different viewing distance. Wanna know more about how to manipulate your viewers perception of colors in your own tattoos? Come see me at Explorer in August in Indiana!!!! @explorertattoo
