Let’s take a moment (or a million) to appreciate the @summerfridays Dream Oasis Deep Hydration Serum [PR - GIFTED] 🍵 $44 for 1 oz, making it on the affordable end for prestige hydrating serums! 🍵 texture: this is the most lotiony serum I’ve used, in the BEST way. I’m addicted to the texture. Sure, we’ve all had a hydrating serum before. But they’re always weirdly slippery or slightly tacky because of the high amounts of glycerin and hyaluronic acid. I think since this is more of an emulsion, it prevents that tackiness. I’m a fannnn; I can certainly see this as a moisturizer replacement for really oily people! 🍵 ingredient callouts: our superstar squalane (obvi), glycerin and hyaluronic are both in this as well because duh they’re amazing humectants, and a blend of colloidal oatmeal + aloe + arnica + tiger grass which are all crazy good at soothing skin 🍵 my skin gets along with this serum so well and it plays so nicely with layering. I use this plus another vitamin c serum and it just melts into my skin. The shine is minimal and it gives a healthy looking glow without the iconic me being shiny with my oily ass skin vibes. 🍵 who do I recommend this for? Definitely great for my oily skin; I can see dry skin people liking this a lot too. It’s hydrating and moisturizing at the same time. 🍵 a negative (because I always have to name at least one to be ~fair~): I wish the cap weren’t so big. It almost doubled the size of the bottle, making this serum a difficult one to travel with. I have ZERO complaints about the formula because it’s amazing and feels so good on my skin.
