I feel very blessed to have met and collaborated with such amazing creatives that don’t just appreciate my culture and identity but also want to highlight it. Showing the natural length of my kesh (hair) or letting me wear my kara (Sikh bangle) on camera are small gestures that mean a lot to me because I get the chance to present these symbols that link me to my community and help me stay rooted in my faith.
