Nothing felt important enough at the time. 2 years later, I look back and feel that just existing and trying to be present in the moment was enough. That morning I took the time to slow cook some cheesy grits. Growing up in the South they were a staple! The soft, warm and gooeyness is comforting and I was needing some comfort then. The thrift store China is also super special❤️
