My father Melvin Sokolsky passed away in his home in Beverly Hills, CA on August 29, 2022. My father was an innovator, artist, and genius. I can’t tell you how much I learned from him over all the years. He was instrumental in helping me shape my career in cinematography. From my early childhood to the present day, we shared our thoughts and ideas. What a loss for all of us. His legacy will live on through those he touched. Love you, Pop. Rest in peace.
